How It Works
Cookalong is a gourmet food delivery service offering fresh, pre-prepared restaurant quality ingredients and meals, with recipes curated by acclaimed chefs Nic Watt and Darren Johnson.
With 50 years of experience in the kitchen between them, the duo prepare ingredients and meals inspired by their restaurants and their travels, with a solid commitment to using only the best local, fresh, seasonal produce.
With menus that change weekly (1 & 2 below) and fortnightly (3 & 4 below), most of the hard work is done in the restaurant. All meals require just 30 minutes or less of prep / cooking time. Simply sauté and serve or heat and eat:
1. Four-Night Gourmet Dinner: Subscription service, from $160 or $20 pp per night (serves 2 or more) - sauté and serve chef-prepared dishes with restaurant sauces and prepared garnishes. Tuesday delivery.
2. Three-Night Family Heat and Eat: Subscription service $150 or $12.50 pp per night (serves 4) – simply heat, eat and enjoy. Tuesday delivery.
3. Three-Course Date Night: $98 (serves 2 with option to add guests for $49 pp) - sauté and serve chef-prepared dishes with restaurant sauces and prepared garnishes. Tuesday or Thursday delivery.
4. Two-Night Essential Eats: choice of 2 meals $98 (serves 4) - simply heat, eat and enjoy. Tuesday or Thursday delivery.
Delivery is free within 5km of Auckland CBD, $15 delivery fee outside the 5km delivery zone (see FAQs for map). Order cut-off for options 1-4 is 3:00pm Friday before each Tuesday / Thursday delivery (Thursday, Date Night and Essential Eats only).
