SUBSCRIPTIONS:

“Are all options subscriber based?”
The 4-Night Gourmet and 3-Night Family Heat & Eat are weekly subscriber based options however you can cancel or pause at any time before Friday for the following week’s delivery.
The Date Night and Essential Eats options are not subscriber based and can be ordered as and when desired.

When will I be billed each week?”
You will be billed immediately for your first purchase, then on following weeks you will be charged on Friday (the cutoff date for new orders).

“How do I cancel/change/pause my subscriptions?”
You can make changes to your subscription at any time from your customer portal. Log into your customer account using the icon in the top right of the page. and then select 'Manage Subscriptions' to be taken to your customer portal. For any technical or billing enquiries please email james@cookalong.co.nz.

INGREDIENTS:

“Do you cater to special dietaries?”
Yes we will consider all special dietary requests. Please see the dietary details that accompany each meal and if you require something additional to this please email us at hello@cookalong.co.nz before placing your order.

“Is your fish sustainably sourced?”
All of our fish is sourced from the best local suppliers with a sustainable approach.

“Is your meat free range?”
All our meat is free range where possible.

“Is the meat Halal?”
If you require halal please do email us at hello@cookalong.co.nz.

“Are your ingredients sourced locally?”
Our ingredients are sourced locally and in season wherever possible.

Is there alcohol in the cooking?”
No alcohol is used in the cooking process.

“What pantry staples do I need?”
You may require some cooking oil, salt and pepper. The chefs have done all of the hard work for you so you can relax and enjoy a delicious chef prepared meal with minimal time and fuss.    

ORDERING AND DELIVERIES:

“What is your delivery radius?”
We currently deliver to the greater Auckland region (excluding Waiheke). We deliver free to addresses within a 5km radius of Auckland’s CBD, a flat $15 fee applies outside of this delivery zone – see map below.

“What day/s do you deliver?”
Our standard meal boxes (4 Night Gourmet and 3 Night Heat & Eat) are delivered every Tuesday between 2:00pm and 6:00pm.

Our Date Night and Essential Eats boxes can be delivered either Tuesday or Thursday between 2:00pm and 6:00pm.

“Do I need to be at home for a home delivery?”

No you don’t need to be home, we will take a photo and confirm the drop spot.

“When is the cut off for ordering?”

3:00pm Friday prior for a Tuesday or Thursday* delivery.
*Thursday Date Night or Essential Eats only.       

PREPARATION/PORTIONS:

“How long will it take me to prep for the 3 Course Date Night dinner?
The 3 course Date Night dinner is simply a “sauté and serve”, allow 30 mins preparation for all three courses combined. We have made it very easy for you so you can relax and enjoy time with your loved one.

“How long will it take me to prep each night for the 4 Night Gourmet Dinner Set?”
The Gourmet dinners are simply “sauté and serve”, allow 30 mins preparation for both courses combined. We have made it very easy for you so you can relax and enjoy spending time with each other.

“How long will it take me to prep each night for the 3 Night Heat and Eat or Essential Eats?”

Allow 30 minutes cooking time and preparation – these meals are designed to be super easy and as the name suggests, simply Heat & Eat. 

“Is the 3 night Family Heat & Eat large enough to feed two adults and two teenagers?”

Yes our 3 night family Heat & Eat and Essential Eats meals are designed for four adult portions.
